Christmas cards

My "family" Christmas card is going to be very similar to this card. I'm using True Thyme CS and a cranberry/true thyme colored DP as the middle layer. I'm using True Thyme and Cranberry ink instead of the green and pink shown on this card. I will be using the same stamp sets, Baroque Motifs and Delight in life (for teh poinsettias). I don't think I'll be using the green ribbon shown here because it probably won't match the True Thyme CS.

When I get them finished, I'll post a pic for comparison.

Time is flying!

My last post was nearly a month ago! Since then, we've had Halloween and my birthday. Next week is my husband's birthday, the following week is my son's birthday and Thanksgiving. It's a busy month!

The first pic is the card for my son; I found this stamp at a thrift store for $4! The second card is for my husband's birthday; he bought the stamp (and several other classic car stamps) for me for my birthday and said he wanted me to use one of them for his card.
